Leica M4 (No Serial) (Black Paint, 10402) + Meter MR
This is a very interesting non-original black paint M4! It was modified, likely by Leica, at some point from a chrome body with normal black paint M4 parts. It has no serial number but all parts are true black paint Leica parts. The shutter curtain is installed in a strange way, with the two stitched parts being upside down relative to one another instead of in the same direction. This doesn't impact performance at all and is likely another mod done by a the factory. It shows minor signs of wear throughout including some patina. It's a pretty cool, unique Leica camera!
The shutter, rangefinder, and film advance mechanisms have been cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted as necessary. The light meter has been adjusted to work properly with modern 1.5v batteries.
